Today I saw a Nazi

I sam a boy who looked like a Nazi today.

Ayrian youth right in front of my headlights.

Harkening back to those pictures,

those snapshots in black and white.

Trimmed and Proper.

Head shaved up the sides to

Blonde

Blonde tops.

A strong nose, the face of a handsome child.

When he walked

he strutted,

shoes flopping, the black soles heavy with history slapping the gray pavement.

I imagined, as I drove, cutting out his bright technicolor face,

(around the edges of his ears, of course)

then gluing that

Shining

Shining

Blonde hair to one of those black and white photographs.

Today I saw a Nazi.

Back from Vermillion.... onto Kansas...a poem

Short. wet. wondering summer.

The real sets in,

with its rooms and movements.

Fast migration and new interaction.

I will return once more to a state of organization.

Enjoying for a time the space between responsibilities.

Now is the time, saying goodbye to the places I already have left.

Almost old news, I miss you already.

Tis time....

It seems to have been a while since I have written.... My old friend, here are my thoughts:

Let the slow, stronger life enter.
When a woman holds and plays with a baby it releases endorphines.
My brain is swimming.
I miss dancing.
Sleep.
